Home care scheduling
Every shift has a caregiver and a backup before anyone picks up the phone.
The solver picks a primary and a backup for each shift. The primary gets an email with one link. If they decline, or do not answer in 30 minutes, the backup is offered automatically.

Drop the files
Caregiver availability, clients and shifts as CSV or Excel. Bad rows are listed with their row numbers. Good rows still load.

Solve the week
A constraint solver assigns a primary and a backup to every shift, and keeps continuity with the client where it can.

Offer by email
One link opens the shift. Accept or decline with a button. The link works for 30 minutes, then the backup is offered.

Confirm and alert
The shift is confirmed and both sides get a message. A shift with nobody left goes to the scheduler as an alert.
Rules it will not break
The constraints are checked twice: by the solver, then by a separate checker.
A plan that fails the checker never reaches a caregiver. Each rule below has a test that fails when it is broken.

what the caregiver does
- → Opens the link. Nothing is answered yet, so a mail scanner cannot accept for them.
- → Presses Accept or Decline. The answer is final, and a second click says so.
- → Sets their time zone once on the setup page. Every later time is shown in it.
